Sialkot has been a global centre for handcrafted surgical and dental instruments since the late 1800s. What began as local blacksmiths servicing British doctors at the American Mission Hospital evolved into full-scale manufacturing by the 1920s.
By World War II, the city had become a major supplier for Allied forces, prompting the establishment of formal training and inspection systems . Today, with over 99% of Pakistani surgical instrument exports coming from its cluster of skilled artisans and SMEs, Sialkot has steadily transitioned toward semi-automated production—mirroring the craftsmanship and global reputation of Tuttlingen in Germany .
Building on this rich heritage, Nurikon International Pvt Ltd was founded in 1994 with a vision to carry forward Sialkot’s legacy of precision and craftsmanship into the modern era. From the outset, we focused on international markets, combining traditional expertise with evolving technologies to meet global standards. Over the decades, Nurikon has not only upheld the city’s reputation for excellence but also shaped it—by streamlining processes, investing in innovation, and continually improving quality. Today, in 2025, we stand as a symbol of what Sialkot represents: heritage, resilience, and a pioneering commitment to surgical and dental instruments’ precision and reliability.
